Excerpt from my upcoming book:
Remember what it felt like when you were a little girl? You absolutely knew that you were beautiful. It wasn't a "looking in the mirror" thing, although that was really fun too. It was a deep knowing. You were too young to worry about comparing yourself to anyone else. You were just interested in what you were interested in.
You even understood a thing or two about balance. You ate when you were hungry, slept when you were tired, and went about the work of being a kid. You knew who you were, but didn't take yourself too seriously.
So where are you now? Do you still have a strong sense about who you are? And, what about balance? Sure, you've said time and time again, "I can take care of myself!" But, how are you really doing?
